  • Happy African Wild Dog Day! 🐾 All our Ximuwu guests know our very own ‘wild dog’ Nobu – the lodge mascot who never misses a game drive. Last night she spotted two real wild dogs, but while they were fascinated by this unusual creature on the back of the vehicle… Nobu just waited patiently for the wheels to turn so the drive could continue. Priorities 😉
  • Some very special news from Ximuwu… we’ve discovered a wild dog den not far from the lodge! 🐾 A few days ago, we were lucky enough to capture some footage of the tiny pups on the road with the adults. The quality isn’t the best, but this moment was far too magical not to share! Since then, the little ones have been tucked safely away in the den — and we’ll be keeping a close watch from a respectful distance.
