  • Meet the African wildcat—one of Africa’s most elusive small predators and one of the ancestors of today’s domestic cat. Quiet, secretive, and mostly active after dark, they’re a special sighting on any game drive. 📷 @matt.crookes
  • The safari doesn’t end when the game drive does. After an unforgettable afternoon in the bush, it’s time to slow down. A warm shower, your favourite drink waiting at the bar, a gourmet dinner prepared by our chefs, and stories shared around the table with fellow travellers or your private group. This drastically out performs other apex predators such as lions, leopards, etc. It’s all about team work, the pack uses a sophisticated strategy to take down its prey, cutting off escape routes and using curatorial hunting (meaning they chase their prey to exhaustion).
